Wigs for Kids
Hair donation information
As the owner of Revamp Salon, I wanted to find a way to reach out to our community in a very special way. Since 2016 I have been a local affiliate for Wigs for Kids. With that responsibility, we have fitted local children with alopecia related hair loss for wigs as well as cut and mailed in hundreds of hair donations to this amazing organization. If you would like to donate your hair, please read the information below and schedule your appointment today!
Hair Requirements for donating your hair
Wigs for Kids requires that your hair be chemically untreated, which means no color, bleach or perming. The minimum requirement is 12 inches of hair. So pull out that tape measure and make sure you have enough. If you're unsure we will be happy to measure it for you.
Schedule your appointment
You can call, email or book online. Please come in with clean and completely dry hair, as we do the donation first. Sit back and watch the magic happen as we section, cut and style your new look! We will even take before and after pictures as well as send the hair in for you!
